Games like the one this weekend against Spotted Dog are the potential banana skin fixtures that can lose you league titles.
We all know that the dog are a physical side and it is well documented that the games are usually close run affairs.
They have a much bigger squad than last year and have been doing OK so far this season. OK, so they might have lost the opening two games, but they still managed to put 4 goals past both Thompsons' and Colburn so we have to make sure they dont get a sniff at goal.
Having said that they also shipped 11 goals in the same games so expect to see some gaps at the back. It wont be an easy game but we have more than enough quality in this squad to win the game.

Another solid performance. It turned out to be a real difficult game to win but the team showed a real resolve to take the points. A thoroughly deserved MOM for Jason Newall at the heart of our defence. I was gutted Beaver didnt get the hat trick his performance deserved. Well done to you all. The management are well pleased.

Well done boys another good win - personally I think 'Dog' are a good side and always give us a tough game. Good to see that even when a couple are missing we have a strong enough squad to keep grinding the results out. Best of luck for next week hopefully I'll get down the first week in October - might even bring my boots!
